Welcome to the Butter Factory. Located on the banks of the Murray River, Albury Wodonga’s iconic venue is unique, unconventional and highly versatile.

Ideal for conferences, weddings, retreats, and private functions, the Butter Factory’s spaces can be transformed with the theatrical magic, lighting and projection to create the perfect experience. Originally built in 1928, the building is steeped with this region’s history, first as an operating dairy and now as home to one of Australia’s most innovative theatre companies. Hundreds of famous Australian actors and musicians have appeared onstage at the Butter Factory. Now you can too!
