Business Manager

HotHouse Theatre is seeking a highly skilled, passionate and dedicated Business Manager to join our team in a full time capacity to commence in April 2021.

About the role:The Business Manager supports the Artistic Director/CEO to deliver on the artistic vision and strategic objectives of the company, by ensuring the business and financial operations are viable, sustainable and appropriate for the ongoing needs of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Primarily responsible for the operational implementation of the strategic plan, the Business Manager will achieve this through exceptional management of HotHouse’s:

  • Financial Strategy & Operations
  • Operational and business systems
  • Compliance and governance; and
  • Key stakeholder relationships.

The Business Manager will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and the Board of Directors and will engage positively and collaboratively with the artistic, production and administrative teams, to ensure exceptional and sustainable delivery of our annual production and artist development programs, for the region. Collaboratively we will ensure HotHouse Theatre remains a source of regional pride and a theatre company of national significance.

This exciting opportunity is expected to commence in April 2021.

Front of House Staff

HotHouse Theatre is seeking Front of House Staff to join our casual pool. You must have a Victorian RSA (or be prepared to get one) and ideally a current first aid certificate.

You need to be available evenings and have strong customer service skills, like people and be be OK with using technology (tablets/phones).
