In April, HotHouse Theatre’s Studio Ensemble will set forth on its At The Hip creative journey. Join us at the start of the year’s research, as we introduce you to the cast and creatives, and the direction of the show we are making, and invite you to share your stories of Albury-Wodonga with us.
Acclaimed theatre-maker and writer of At The Hip Roslyn Oades, is known for her innovative work in the field of headphone verbatim and audio cued performance. At the Artist Talk, she will share her body of work and the unique creative process that will drive At The Hip, through archival video clips and images. She will be joined by close collaborator, actor Katia Molino, who will perform examples of Ros’ work. HotHouse Artistic Director Lyn Wallis will introduce the 2016 Studio Ensemble, and will talk about the At The Hip concept.
This is a unique opportunity for students, subscribers and community members to hear from Ros in person about her contemporary theatre-making techniques, and to participate in the process of making At The Hip. Between April and June, The Studio Ensemble will be interviewing community members, and you could be one of them. Or you may know of someone else whose story must be told!
Take the first step with us on our exciting At The Hip adventure!
