Caleb Lewis
Caleb Lewis is a multi-award-winning playwright, theatremaker and designer of playful interactions.
Games, installations and interactive entertainments include Exclusion Zone; Across a Crowded Room; and the multi-platform If There Was a Colour Darker Than Black I’d Wear It – Winner of the 2013 Ruby Award for Innovation.
Plays for the stage include Nailed; Dogfall; Death in Bowengabbie, Rust and Bone; Aleksander and the Robot Maid; Clinchfield; The Honey Bees; and Maggie Stone.
He is the inaugural winner of the Richard Burton Award for New Plays, and the Australian Writer’s Guild Award for Interactive Narrative, and is currently completing a doctorate, researching the many ways in which we engage with story through play.
