** The women, how they do talk.**

Freda is a woman grappling with injustice and hardship in post World War 2 Austria. Despite all that, there is music. There is theatre. There is Cabaret. And glimpses of humour and laughter come through the suffering.

Edlmayr by The Reginas is a personal story about a woman’s experience of war, as told by her granddaughter.

Drawing on historical family references shared through vibrant contemporary music, we are welcomed to the intimacy and banter of a loungeroom parlour. What unfolds is a conversation about the resilience and resourcefulness of women in wartime, shared with music, humour and honour for the women before us.
